    Just my luck. I upgrade from a faithful PT-AE100 and put it up for sale, then last night watching Blade II, my 300 lamp goes off, no fan noise, and just a very quiet beep every 5 seconds.

    Any ideas? I'm returning it via my father to Panasonic. But as it was a staff sale, they tend to be very slow fixing staff items as they don't charge labour.

    total running time has been 26 hours. At least I've still got the 100 as life without a movie a week on the big screen is unbearable.

    Sorry to hear that :(

    Sounds like it's busted though, my AE300 has never made a beep ever ;)

    We haven't seen too many AE300 problems here so it's hopefully just a rough unit and not the start of a trend ;)

    Good luck with the turnaround :D

    In the pm you sent me today, you said that your Panny 300 has developed problems, and that you no longer can sell me the AE100;

    I dont think this is the way to do any form of business, you had ALREADY SOLD the item to me.

    This leaves a very sour taste, and does not follow through
    with the codes of business and ethics so brilliantly displayed by others on this site.

    Once again I am extremely dissapointed in your actions,

    £740!!! Don't these eBayers check online prices of brand new later models before they bid :laugh:

    Mind you I see the dubious eBay Z2 is now up to £700 with less than a day to go :eek:
