    Go for it:)

Ive had mine for about 6 months and very pleased with it and it cost me £1350 and that was cheap.

HS10 is good if fact very good but I (wife) couldnt justify the extra £700. I would have had the HS10 but for the price the 300 is amazing I thinks.

Couldn't resist, put down the cash for a 300, seems way too cheap!
I have a venerable XV-380H and they seem to be going on e-bay for less than the price of a new bulb so it is, in essence, scrap :(
They're suggesting 7 days for no more screen-door on a best endevours basis...fingers crossed

well, the AE500 is supposed to be out later this month, thats why i think everyhwere is lowering the 300 in preperation. If the Ae500 is going to possibly be as little as £1300, thats makes alot of sense.

So anyone think it's better to forget the 300 and wait for the 500 instead?

    Yes and no.

500 should/will be a better machine. You may find that if you waite to get the 600 someone may post that Panni are bringing a 600 or 700 out in a few more months. Its a conveyor belt you gotta get on it at some point. At less than £1000 now the 300 seems too good to miss I think.

    Good luck

    Jack
