I am think of buying this unit but am wary of the costs and availableity of spare bulbs. I cannot see where they are sold.
I have readon thif forum that they are £140 a shot.
    Can anyone confirm this?

That's the correct price. As for availability, I think you will have to contact Panasonic themselves. They state that they should be fitted only be qualified service engineers---that's probably bunkum because in their manual, just under that warning, they then proceed to tell you exactly how to fit one! However, they may use that excuse to prevent you from buying one. I don't know, I'm just guessing, but give them a ring and ask them.

I did email Panasonic and they didn't reply.
£140 seems good. Although it's a pity you have to go straight to the manufacturer to get a replacement.
I think I will buy one of the units.

Yes I have read in places the lamp is meant to be around £150.

However, Panasonic will quote you £250 +VAT and they do not have anything in until 2 weeks.

I wanted one as a spare as I like to keep one handy even though my machine has only a few hours on it.

The ET-LAE100 in in stock at Panasonic. Joe at the media factory has an account and he can order them for you.

The important thing with lamps though are if you want long life, always switche the projector off properly and run it in low/eco mode.
