    Just walked in Virgin and saw this boxset. Oh goody I thought.

    Then..........

    Psycho I non anarmorphic 2:35:1

    The rest fullframe.

    So poo to universal with highly polished brass knobs on!!!!!!!!

    I did not purchase it.

    I cannot remember seeing it in 2.35:1 so I have just looked at the technical details which were:

    1.37 : 1 (negative ratio)
    1.85 : 1 (theatrical ratio)

    Does that mean 1.85:1 shown on screen or did the use a special lens???

    My mistake, 1:85:1 it is. Still the others are not presented in the their respective right ratio's :(

    I saw this too and noted that the first film has all sorts of extras that my exisiting DVD copy (Region 2) does not have - how about campaiging for a seperate release of the first film with the extras.

    I'm holding out for Psycho 2 as an anamorphic release, although I'm not holding my breath.
    I love both 1 & 2 but a lot of people I've recommended No.2 to have hated it!

    I got Psycho 3 a while ago but it ain't great quality.

    The R1 release of Psycho I have is only 16x9 letterbox but still is decent quality (and according to some better quality than the R2 anamorphic release).
