I cannot remember seeing it in 2.35:1 so I have just looked at the technical details which were:

    1.37 : 1 (negative ratio)
    1.85 : 1 (theatrical ratio)

Does that mean 1.85:1 shown on screen or did the use a special lens???

My mistake, 1:85:1 it is. Still the others are not presented in the their respective right ratio's :(

Sorry, didn’t mean to pick you up I thought the labelling on the box could be wrong.

I saw this too and noted that the first film has all sorts of extras that my exisiting DVD copy (Region 2) does not have - how about campaiging for a seperate release of the first film with the extras.

I'm holding out for Psycho 2 as an anamorphic release, although I'm not holding my breath.
I love both 1 & 2 but a lot of people I've recommended No.2 to have hated it!

I got Psycho 3 a while ago but it ain't great quality.

The R1 release of Psycho I have is only 16x9 letterbox but still is decent quality (and according to some better quality than the R2 anamorphic release).
