They are also showing the pilot first, may seem obvious but pilots tend to be sold under different contracts.

For those who haven't seen it then it's fun maybe even "madcap" comedy about a guy who has exceptional deductive and observation talents, primed to be a cop by his Dad but turns out to be a total let down. Yet when opportunity calls (like ringing tip lines to tell the cops who broke into the electrical store) he is forced to hide his talent behind the facade of being a psychic along with his best friend.

Hallmark are also showing the series and a shame the BBC are not putting it on their HD channel:(

Lassie should throw the book at them for that .... but not if it's the Bible that would seem a bit sacrilegious :D

I have to say watching the pilot alone, it didn't grab me at all.

    Can't say I laughed once !

It's not a comedy, it has funny moments so a smile or two would have been ok but like Monk it may be an acquired taste.

Give the first episode proper a go, a casting change and things have settled down, if Spelling Bee doesn't raise a smile then you can walk away satisfied it's not for you:)

It was watchable, not great or poor, I wont be upset if I miss episodes but will give it an other go.
I could not find how it was a comedy, more touches of stuff that are whimsical.

Don't you mean Spellingg Bee? ;)

Totally agree though, if you get no laughs or guffaws in that episode then your humour is out of sync with the show so to speak.

It had the late great Don Davis in it.That makes it ok as far as I'm concerned. I just saw him in another minor part in Supernatural today.

I laughed at the first it was quite funny but IMO its the least funny episode as I see it as to more an introduction to how he got into the situation with the police and get a feel for it.

The next episode I believe is the spelling bee one and that is hailed as one of the funniest.

This goes for Garrett as well.

First was basically an intro more so than other series but it gets a hell of a lot better. Mummy episode I nearly ****** myself laughing at.

The Spanish Soap story "Lights, Camera ... Homicidio" (s2e13) had me in stitches and is up there in my top 3:)

It's tough but, but I'd say; Shaun vs The Red Phantom, Cloudy...Chance of Murder and the recent Any Given Friday Night at 10pm, 9pm Central have been my faves so far.
