Hi folks,
I have an Acer RC500 media PC, and it has the most annoying power supply in the world in it...
It is a ATX Flex (as far as i can tell)
I got one ordered from the US, which blew as soon as i plugged in a 230v UK power source!
Now i need a new one, ACER have quoted me £78, but i have found one here for £50:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/search.aspx?MenuNo=12138&MenuName=Flex+ATX+Power+Supplies&worldid=4&FromMenu=y&doy=30m8
Is it worth taking the risk?
Also, i'm beginign to think that i may have put a power switch inside the PC in the wrong way round, is this possible and would it have caused the power supply to blow?
I'm useless with this at the moment, which is annoying cause i'm starting my A+ in January!!
