LOL it looks like a book. In fact ive seen thicker books. Its going to topple over for goodnes sake!

I never liked the original PS2 design, I dont think this is much of an improvement.

    Bring on the PS3!

I dont think sony will impress me much with any design unless they design one with four control ports in it. I would have thought they'd have eradicated that problem with the ps2 but no just cash in again of the four port adapter.Oh and it could do with a hard drive too.

Im not trying to diss it as I have all consoles so dont have any worrys there I like each of them and play each of them equally. So I dont want any console wars please

    cheers

I think it looks hideous :thumbsdow I wanted a flat design like the PSOne

At least it's a fliptop lid though...that's something to be grateful for!

Yeah, the PS2 tray is so flimsy im afraid to touch it incase it breaks off like a leaf!

I feel that this unit wont sell outside of japan. (in japan the smaller the better)

Design wise its still the same as the PS2, just smaller.

The PSone was designed a little differently from the PS so it felt like we were buying a new console.
With the PStwo it feels like having the same console just smaller.

I know my reasoning may sound strange but I wanted the PStwo to look a bit different therefore justifying its purchase since I already have a PS2.

That is thin! Just over 2.5 cm thick! It also sounds like it will come with a built in network port!

Also you don't have to have it stood up. It's the same as the original PS2, in that you can stand it up with the additional stand if required or just lie it flat.

I think it looks pretty cool and as I stated in a previous thread, the flip top lid is far better than those rubbish trays.
