    Hi

I have preordered my psp for day of release and want to get ahead of the game so what I want to know is will I be able to access the web via the bt voyager and if so how is it done, Will the psp recognise the modem and will it ask for the ssid automatically or do I have to set this up on the psp

I know I am jumping the gun abit but I want all the answers before I get it.

I think all you need to do is make sure the wireless settings are appropriate, make a note of your wpa key if you have one and make a note of the ssid and take it from there.

It is very straightforward to set up on the psp, I had no problems with my netgear wireless router

That's not a dumb question for the likes of me...

Yes, it is 802.11b compatible. I have got the 2100 Voyager and my PSP communicates with it no problems.

No, as earlier poster said, just have to enter the SSID (wireless network name, for example BTVOYAGER2100-DE).

    Easy as 1-2-3.

Good luck and just ask if you have any more questions.

What about setting up WEP encryption?? I still haven't had any luck with it and the PSP (I have a Belkin router, but I assume the procedure would be the same for any router). Does anyone have a guide for setting this up??

I don't recall having to do anything about WEP encryption.

I will have a look tonight (I have the BT Voyager, though, the Belkin may be different).
