Hi sorry if this is a stupid question, i am considering a psp and wondered whether I could plug it into a plasma and use its features on a big screen, I know it is a portable machine but I dont have a playstation so does this replace the need for one? :lesson:

Two problems here. 1) The PSP doesn't have an AV out.
    2) If it did, then the resolution would be way too inadequate for large TVs and the
    image would look very pixelated.
You need to buy a PS2 or wait for the PS3 if you want large screen gamining, or buy an xbox etc..
    Hope this helps.

Total Games.net magazine featured a gameDR GameCast - details:

It's basically a camera that fits securely onto the PSP screen and then beams the picture and sound to a connected TV. The battery operated device includes controls for brightness and focus.

There is a picture of it too but they didn't have one to test.

I have since seen the PSP on a TV, but I still do not believe it. I think you need extra
hardware and it is for watching movies, I think there will be a lag when playing games.
it was either on pspupdates.com or gizmodo.com.

Agreed Waste of time. However going the other way would be nice.
i.e. streaming live TV to your PSP!
