Toys R Us are now selling the PSOne for £29.99 with a wide range of free games to choose from (one's that are normally a tenner each).

The offer is also on their website although you have to pay postage of £3.90 and there is only 1 game to choose from (Killer Loop - normally £4.99).

does anyone know if the PSone laser will fit in the first Jap models of the Playstation 1?, or if the UK PSone can be converted to play NTSC games?

Why would you want even 1 PSOne, never mind 2?
Presumably you're selling them on to gullible punters at a mark-up?

:lesson: Just for the record, its much cheaper to mod a PSOne to play all my NTSC RPG's than it is a PS2.

The 2nd one is just in case the first one breaks in ten years or so - the price on ebay for a brand new mint unopened one will surely be more than £29.99 :smashin:

I had no idea people still played games on these consoles.
And as for still playing it in 10 years time...are you sure?
Hopefully the PS5 will be out by then... :)

Sorry SCo4 for not answering sooner. It can be done but its getting harder to find anyone willing to do it.

I'm a bit of a stickler for playing games in their original format - I'm currently half way through Chronotrigger on the good old SNES even though I've got the NTSC version that was released for the PS1 :smashin:

I still play arcade games and games on consoles that are older than ten years. You simply can't beat good gameplay.

It is also why some people watch films that are 60 years old in black and white :) Same principle applies.
