Hi.
I am not having much luck with the HDR in Photoshop CS2, yet have read that Photomatrix is the better for producing HDRs,
or perhaps i need to spend more time with what i have.

Any comments please?

Download the trial version and give it a go yourself. Photomatix is deffinately morre capable as it has more options etc so a wider array of results can be had. Give the free trial version a go - you've nothing to loose (unless you like it!!)

I agree with allymac. Get a copy of the Photomatix trial and give it a go.

I tried HDR in PS and it was rather cumbersome. In Photmatix you'll get some decent looking results quite quickly.

This is a pretty decent guide to using Photomatix for the first time:

Be prepared for some hair pulling if you're running Vista though. I've lost count of the number of times that the demo crashed on me...
