Struggling here. I have an LG C9 with the Bose Soundbar 700 including rear surround 700’s and Sound Base 500.
Running native apps via web os I get either DD or DTS and it sounds great.
Running via my PS5 I seem to only get LPCM 2.0 for gaming. I have set the PS5 to output linear pcm; av receiver and set to 5.1. On the TV I have pass through and eARC on. The HDMI input is set to bitstream.
When playing a Blu ray or 4K uhd disc I can override in the Blu ray menu to DTS 5.1 or DD.
Regardless, and for games only I want to get lpcm 5.1 working. But no luck. I upgraded the cables to 2.1 and used the Bose provided cabling.
Any suggestions guys. I simply want my ps5 output LPCM 5.1 for games.
