Hello all.
Just like to know if there is away to split the 1 HDMI output on the PS to 2 screens.1 TV ,1 Monitor will not be used at the same time.

Sorry just saw you plug it in to the TV.I want my PS4 to be plugged in to my TV and Monitor at the same time so i cant have to keep changing cables. So when I power it on it just shows on what screen I pick

they should all do exactly the same job.

the only difference you'd probably find is in the build quality. The one you have purchased should work, looking at the feedback no-one has complained about it

If you want your PS4 to output to two screens, simply plug whatever extender you buy into the back of the PS4. Then connect one HDMI cable from your tv to the extender, and one HDMI cable from your monitor to the extender. You shouldn't need a separate power supply.

I have confused myself lol.
I need
The PS4 to be linked to a TV and Monitor at the same time does not need to run at the same time.

Need my PS3,PS4,PC linked to the monitor to but it only has 1 HDMI so need the 3 way spliter.

Ah ok. You need to make two purchases then: (i) a two way splitter - plug that into the back of your PS4; and (ii) a three way splitter - plug that into the back of your monitor. Connect one HDMI cable from the PS4's two way splitter into your monitor's three way splitter. Connect another HDMI cable from your PS4's two way splitter to your tv.

Then connect HDMI cables for your PS3 and PC into the two remaining HDMI ports on the three way splitter going into the monitor. :)

 Thank you so much this has had me confused lol.Like the two way splitter before I found?.I found one that does not need it's own power but they state it does not work.So would I have to get one with it's own power?

I think Kav is getting his splitters and switches mixed up. There is a big difference between the two.
A switch will allow you to connect multiple devices to one monitor.
A splitter will allow one device to be distributed to multiple monitors.
Your wanted set up from what I can gather through the confusion would require a three into one switch and a one into two splitter. How these are linked together depends on your specific needs.
ie. do you want only the PS4 to display on both monitors and the PS3 and PC just to the one, or do you want all three devices to be able to display on both monitors?

Best thing to do is buy off Amazon and read the reviews, look for specific reviews that mention it working with the equipment you are using.
Another alternative (which may work out cheaper) is a HDMI matrix like this one. This will allow four devices to be connected to two monitors and will allow different devices to be used on each monitor at the same time if you need to, or same displayed on both.

Personally I wouldn't buy one off eBay. I'd stick with Amazon simply for the fact you can read reviews on what you're buying. Not saying that it wouldn't work, maybe worth the risk for the price and may be a good buy.
It states that it supports 1080p so can't see why it wouldn't work in PS4
Yeah sod it will just pay bit more and get the Amazon one
