Ps4 pro overheating!!!

Novice Member
Hi all. Really hope you can help.
Have a ps4 pro that had been working flawlessly until last update about 2 weeks ago.
Now its overheating after 30 or 40 mins of playtime.
I thought it was going to be just a blocked heating. So stripped it down and the fan was clean. Thought strange. Stripped it down further to see that the heatsink was a bit dusty. Nothing blocking it what so ever.
So wiped down componants. Put fresh paste on. Assembled and turned it on. 40 mins later overheating again. Plenty of room around console. Fan is operating. Pulled it out of unit while still on and theres cold air being pushed out the back of the ps4. So how can that be?
I'm scratching my head to why its overheating.
Can anyone please shed some light onto my problem?
