Question Ps4 or Dedicated Bluray player

Apologies if this topic has already been discussed.
What are members thoughts/opinions on using the PlayStation 4 as a Bluray player against a dedicated Bluray player?

I'm not sure how the ps4 is now for blurays as i stopped using it after a week of purchase as i was getting lip sync issues. I've a dedicated samsung BDP3600 bluray player that i need to upgrade but it will do for now.
Assuming the lip sync has been fixed on ps4 all blurays "should" look and sound basically the same though as its a digital signal and not dependant on connections as much as old analogue signals
