PS3 wont now connect to internet after update 3.61

Had the mandatory 3.61 yesterday morning, and now it wont connect to the internet, or any of the video on demand services. (i'm in the UK).

I know my internet is working on my Pc, as I'm posting this right now

No other settings have changed from what I'm aware of.
All I can see is that when you go to 'test settings', it can find my router SSID, but no IP address.

Any ideas?

Have you tested it with a wired connection?

I am having a similiar problem. I updated to the latest firmware and the PS3 will not connect to the internet wired or wireless. I have a Virgin Super Hub.

It was working fine wireless, before the update

Just googles...same around the world (people from Malaysia, Brazil, etc) all saying same things. Sone saying due to store coming back online soon..,**** knows but bloody ridiculous they haven't warned this could happen
