PS3 wont detect Samsung D8000 tv

I can use the convert 2D - 3D to get the games in 3D but surely that isn't the way it works? I have 3D gaming on my PC and the game says stereoscopic compatible, convert 2D - 3D is not that is it?

I have watched some you tube vids on how to setup the PS3 for 3D I am starting to think I may have the wrong HDMI cable? The cables. Have were bough before the 3D tv thing took off.

Doesn't seem to he a way to check the cord they have nothing on them, so I have to go get a high speed cord or something?

Try another HDMI cable (I think that you can use 1.3 version) and see the PS3 configurations.

I did buy them well before all this TV 3D stuff ... but OMG the dam cable cost me friggen $200!!!
