PS3 stream from Network PC?

Just spent 90 minutes looking in PS3 forums and can't find definitive answer. Can a PS3 stream music and photo's, etc., from my NAS or main PC over my network?

I appreciate that the answer is definitely already in here, but I have searched using a variety of different terms, got sidetracked, read lots of interesting stuff, but can't actually say, hand on heart, if I use Homeplugs to connect it (good thread!!) to my network through my BT HomeHub that it will be able to find the photo's, music, etc. on my main PC.

Thanks, NS

Yes it certainly can, I do it at home. The server device needs to be DLNA compliant, so if your NAS has DLNA certification then you'll be ok. Otherwise you'll need to run something like TVersity on your pc.

I use a laptop with external 500gb usb drive running TVersity media server to store all my music, photos and video.
