PS3 & Recordable DVDs

What recordable DVD formats can the PS3 play back?

The reason is that we have a Panasonic DVD recorder in the bedroom and occasionally record stuff on there that we might want to watch on the big TV downstairs (this usually happens if we are already recording something on Sky+).

We normally record on -R or +R depending on what blanks we have lying around, and occasionally on RW. However, we also have some -RAM discs, but we don't tend to use these, as they don't work on the Denon 1730 dvd we have on the main TV.

Thanks :).

I think you also have to consider what format the programmes are recorded in and whether it is compatible with the PS3.
