ps3 media server with no computer

    That will do the trick but I'm told by many that the Qnap NAS's are better.

    Remember though that NAS's don't have enough power to Transcode anything so you will need to make sure your files are all natively PS3 encoded before streaming.

    thats cool, i dont want it do do anything spectacular, just want it to work while my mac is off.

    i did look at the Qnap which does everything but i cant justify the cost . it will be another 100 quid

    just wanna run tvshows/movies direct to ps3 and it seems people are installing twonky media server on this to make it more compatible.
