Hi All,
Which magazines would you recommend specific to the PS3?
I have tended to read Powerstation for the PS2; is it any good with PS3 in mind?

Thanks

Am guessing though the demo disc wont work on imported ps3s:rolleyes: ive bought the last couple of issues which havent had the demo disc so am not to bothered as no big deal, and i recon the demos will all be on the ps shop anyway, pretty good mag by the way ,;)

I wouldn't be surprised if the blu-ray demo disc was region free like the games.

I'd recommend this, too. I have a hard time reading magazines these days, due to the appalling standards of grammar and generally unengaging writing styles, but this magazine seems genuinely to care about quality. After years of reading the PS2 version, I trust its reviews, too. Standards are dropping everywhere; publications such as this should be encouraged and supported!

and its the only one with no sex lines or escort services in the back either! just one mobile stuff company on the back (usual Magazine style)

most mags now have to my utter shock sex chatline and porn pictures in the back pages which is bloody unbelievable

my 8 year old wanted to have a look at it as she likes game sbut luckly id seen all the porn and other such crap before

what the hell are they playing at?

Have you actually managed to successfully download a PS3 magazine yet? They won't work for me, just keeps coming up as an error.

Do these download for anybody?

Sorted! My version of Adobe Acrobat was too old, Version 5. Just installed Version 8, now works a treat!

Last mag I got was Play - the launch one. Pretty good mag, all games reviewed and a dvd disk with trailers!

Will this download on the PS3 or is it PC only?

It's only going to work on the PS3 if you have Linux as well as a compatible version of Adobe Acrobat installed.

Well due to the OPS3 magazine carrying Blu-ray discs with media I will personaly be checking them out.

Other than that, EDGE is the only magazine worth buying and reading :)

Let's hope it doesn't go the same way as OPS2 magazine, which became more lad mag than games mag after the ex-editor of PSW (which went the same way) took over. In fact that seems to be the norm for games mags - they start off quite intelligent and well-written and gradually decline in quality as the machines become more mainstream and the readership demographic changes.

Compare PSM2 when it started to what it was like before it became PSM3, and then look at PSM3.

OPM shouldn't go that way, the old OPS2M was scrapped by sony, and new people hired because of all the dirty adds.
