    Can you believe my ps3 hardly been used been waiting for gt5 for 5 years was racing round laguna and it freezed up turn on my ps3 again its not reading disc's it cost £90 to get it fixed there is no chance am gutted.

    I would not mind but its hardly been touched only for kz2 and gt5 its been in its box for 15 months.


    Looks like am selling of gt5 and my wheel.

    I feel for you. Happened to me - my PS3 Phat packed up reading games halfway through the GT5 install. How irritating was that? :D

    I did go out and buy a slim though - GT5 is worth it IMO. (Well... that and Multiplayer Uncharted 2 :) )

    I've got an issue with my wheel not switching on immediately, i'm just praying that it aint going boobs up :rolleyes:

    I feel your pain mate. My PS3 slim packed in the day GT5 arrived. It just kept fully powering off after 10 seconds. Fortunately Sony replaced it despite it being a few months out of warranty.

    Still using my original which was purchased on 17th August 2007.

    I'm still using mine from Nov 2006 and the ol' girls' still as strong as an ox. Touch wood lol!! :D

    My 60gb launch PS3 died 10 mins into my first game of GT5. SWMBO was fantastic however and went out and bought me a slim the following day.:smashin:

    Is there not a way to repait it yourself and save a few quid. or is that the price for a replacment drive?
