I have just purchased the Sony DR-BT20NX to use with my PS3. I have successfully paired it with the PS3 (and it shows the correct model number) but I do not get any sound.

How do I set-it up so I can listen through the ear phones and use the mic?

    Anyone...

On the set up..did you test it to see if you are getting the 'blips' of it recognising you talking?

If not it isn't connected properly.

If you do, have you set up the input and output to your headset?

For help go to this link.

Hey, just setup my sony iv835 (or something). Need to go into audio settings, then change the input/output to your headset model number. If it's working the mic bar should riase when you speak into it.
Haven't been able to check mine in motorstorm. No one seems to chat even in the headset named games. Anyone know if you have to press a button to chat?

Yes, the top bar varies depending on how much sound is going in from nothing to yellow, green and red.

I have input and output set to the Sony but when I play trailers, etc, I do not hear anything.

I primarily want it so I can watch and play things through the headphones and not disturb any one else.

Damn, wasted my money then as I wanted to use it to watch films, etc. without disturbing any one. Seems a wasted opportunity for Sony!

It's a nice suggestion, but my TV is DVI. I would have to do it through my amp.

Hopefully, maybe Sony will update the facilities especially as it is supposed to be more than a console.
