(here)HELP! I just bought a PS3 slim. I was on youtube watching this video. I did everything that he did. I can hear the clicking when i press the arrow keys on the controller but no video. I tried doing what he did blindly but when i press X, it just says:

2:Digital Input
Cannot Display This Video Mode
Optimum Resolution 1280X1024 60Hz

I have a Dell 1907FP monitor

I connected the ps3 and monitor with a HDMI to DVI cable.

That monitor can only display a signal sent at a max resolution of 1280 x 1024 - ensure your PS3 is set to that or lower before you attach the Dell monitor.
