ps3 hdmi colour problem

    hi all need help.

    ps3 connected to onkyo 605 into samsung q97 , i am getting a blue tinge where the picture is suppose to be black, i have no problem when ps3 is directly connect to samsung tv, any advice would cheers all who read

    yes tried onkyo forum but getting no joy at the moment cheers anyway

    Does the 605 have more than one HDMI input? Have you tried it in a different HDMI slot?

    yes i have tried it in both still the same , i have tried different settings on tv , ps3 and on the onkyo no joy, i have tried different hdmi cables too .

    Do you have any other devices that connect using HDMI (dvd player, etc)? Have you tried them?

    yes got a panasonic s53 dvd player connected hdmi picture wise excellent

    Strange. Sorry I can't help mate. Will do a little digging, but hopefully someone in the 605 owners thread will pipe up with something.

    Just so I am clear. You have PS3 connected via HDMI to Onkyo, then Onkyo connected to Samsung using HDMI?

    Have you tried 2 new/different HDMI cables at the same time (i.e. from the PS3 to Onkyo AND from the Onkyo to the Samsung)?

    i have 4 hdmi cables , i only need 3 but they all have the same effect.
    ps3, dvd into onkyo out to samsung q97
