it should upscale video to 1080p/60.standalone blu-ray players will.
Dam, no DVD-A playback. Anyone know if the 360 does?
I imagen that includes prog scan?
sony would never do dvd-a(thats why they have sacd)
it will do progressive scan.
i wouldn't be suprised if sacd gets dropped TBH
Especially given the cost involved.
plus AFAIK,no standalone blu-ray player supports sacd.
But only a few have been announced, I'm sure they'll try and incorporate the functionality into future stand-alone players.
Of course it will include pro-scan! the machine goes all the way up to 1080p!! Going through 480P, 720P to get there too
I hope there will be built in routines to upscale PS2 games to fill an HD screen.
Aswell as adding some AA, the jaggies in PS2 games look horrendous on a HD screen.
