Not really, it say's pre-order, due for release 01/02/2008.
I saw this earlier on HUKD site and ordered one, glad I never paid £36 on import, works out even cheaper after Quidco.

Wouldnt Sony announce a release date officially for these, instead of them just springing upon us?

What games will this work with? Have Sony been adding support for DualShock before the hardware was available?

Talk about looking to take extra money off existing customers! :thumbsdow Why was this not in place for day 1!!!???

They did not have copyright rights to release rumble when PS3 came out, they were being sued, but have come to a deal with the company and all is OK now.

Knew about Rumble coming out ages ago, that is why I never bought another controller until now.

Funny thing is Play.com are still selling the old standard (Non-Rumble) controller for £27.99.

It does say on DVD.co.uk that it is 49% off, maybe it is a special pre-order price, and they will move it up when it is officially released.

    I paid £31 for a white pad from HK/Japan.

I'm as happy as I can be with that price, & I've never looked back since - @ the end of the day I've saved £4 on the RRP of a standard Six Axis pad ..... plus I've now got it WAY before it's released over here :rotfl:

The dvd.co.uk link no longer works. Says "Product could not be found".

They've probably realised it's a silly price and aren't taking any more preorders. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if those who have placed an order get a message saying it was an incorrect listing.

Has anyone been in touch with DVD.co.uk about this? I've got one on 'pre-order' with a release date of today. I'm obviously not expecting it to be released today, but would have thought they would have updated the release date to something a bit more realistic by now. I find it odd that our orders haven't been cancelled, as they have had plenty of time to do so if the price was wrong.

    Just had this email:

The pre-order date on the 'My Account' page has changed to the first of April. I think I'm just gonna leave it on order, as this will probably be the cheapest price when it eventually does come it.

Also, they have the regular sixaxis for the same price, which I think is the cheapest price around if anyone wants one.

The question has to be "Will they still honor the original price...? or are they going to charge us full whack when it comes out...?"

Not going to cancel yet as I recon that it is going to be around £35 on other sites when it is officially released in the UK.
