ps3 connection problem

Hello,
Wonder if you can help?

I can get online to play Tiger Woods 09 and join a room but that's it. It won't let me connect and actually play against someone online.
No option to join game.

I can sometimes get online on Fifa but that's hit and miss.

Any suggestions ?

PSN currently getting hammered by:
Fifa 10
PSPGo downloads
New PSN cards

Official PlayStation website says PSN is partially available (top right corner).

So, it's not just you with the issue.

I'm not sure it's just down to traffic.
Seems to be something else. My friends are all on playing fine.
