Ps3 audio settings for Sony DAV-DZ260

I have my PS3 connected to my sony DAV-260 home cinema via an optical cable.

I'm not sure what settings I should have it on, DD 5.1 or DTS 5.1?

I would also like it so when my home cinema is turned off, sound comes through the TV speakers (it doesn't at the moment)

Can I do this.

Thanks in advance.

Video settings > audio output format (optical) > bitstream

Sound settings > optical > tick dd, dts, and the default 2ch pcm options

Do you want audio from the tv speakers for ps3? If so you need to enable multi audio output from ps3, so it outputs audio from both ioptical to your home theatre and hdmi to your tv.

Thanks colspark, got sound coming through both now,

which are the default 2ch options though,

I've accidently ticked 3 of 'em (Wot a noob)

The 2ch ones say 'Linear PCM 2ch' and then whatever kHz. If you tick whichever ones you can that should be fine.
