hi all
on my quest to find a decent encoder for ps3 video i came across this
http://www.totallyps3.com/gameinfo.php?details=newsid&newsid=62
it shows how you can easily save .mov files to mp4 without the re-encoding of the video in quicktime pro
Im currently packing my PS3 with some Apple HD trailers to show off my HD capabilites to the family and friends :D

just thought i would share that with you all as it might come in useful :)

Problem with that is it relies on you having Quicktime Pro meaning either buying it or "buying it". PS3 Video 9 is quite a good tool to use and its free...I like free

Ok I just exported the Spider-man 3 720P trailer which I downloaded before and I followed the instructions exactly but the PS3 said it was corrupt!

Thanks for the info. I've now bought Quicktime Pro (never thought I'd do that).
Have you had any problems with sound. Mine seem to be a bit hit and miss. In the audio settings 'pass through' so far has always been greyed out so I have been using 'good' and 'better' but some of my MP4's are coming out with only sound for the first few seconds.

Thanks
