im wondering is it possible to save the game to the ps2 memory card.
if playing a ps1 game on the ps2 ?

Whilst your connected via the composite cable, go into 'system config' and turn on 'component out' (Y Cb/Pb Cr/Pr). Reconnect your component cable and try again...

Very few PS2 games support prog scan, with PAL games you're lucky if you're even given a 60Hz option. But the fact is that using component leads will give you no better image quality with most PAL games than if you are using RGB SCART connections.

But as ^ says if you are using component you must reset the PS2 from it's main menu to the correct output.

thxs both for that info.
il give that a try nice time im on the ps2.
