I know this overlaps a little with the other thread about Composite connections but I am trying to find out the best connection for the PS2 to TV. The age old question of RGB vs SVHS??

I have the SOny SVHS lead and is nice n' sharp but the picture is very harsh when there are blue and white's involved. Is the RGB better at colour reproduction? One things I am worried about is when I use a RGB connection to my TV from Sky Digital, the picture colour is very washed out. The TV is a modern midrange widescreen and I am using a IXOS scart lead. Would the same happen with a SCART RGB lead from the PS2??? I have tried a cheap Joytech one but it can't have been fully wired as it gave no RGB signal.

Another option someone mentioned is to use the MOnster SVHS which is much better than the Sony one.

    Could this get anymore confusing?

I got a RGB scart lead and it's amazing the difference it makes to a PS2.

The picture looks great on my 32" Sony Widescreen TV.
