    Hi Everyone,

I've looking at buying the Limited PS2 SS in the next few weeks.

However I'm just wondering about a few things which I hope you guys help.

I'll be looking to connect up the PS2 via RBG scart to my Widescreen TV.
I hear the IXOS is a good cable but I checked on their webiste and
it does not mention if it is fully wired which I also hear is important.
Firstly, does anyone know if it is fully wired ???
Secondly, is it worth the extra cash compare to the 5 GBP cable over at the whitedog site ??

I'm also going to use the QED optical for sound, connected to my home theater amp.

Lastly and most importantly. What are the pros and cons and/or differences between the Messiah 2 Pro and the DMS 3 chips. Can one have them both fitted ???

Any help, suggestions and comments are most welcome.

    Thanks

The chips will not really make a difference if just playing back-ups and imports.

You will not need a fully wired scart if you are only going to use RGB. The extra money for the IXOS cable is definately worth it, you will get a much cleaner image than cheapy £5 scarts (which even though they say they are RGB they aren't always)

the only difference between them is that the dms3 has over messiah 2 is

option to flash the chip firmware to newer version
    dvd multiregion
    macrovision off
able to run things like the divx player off the memory card
