    Hi

Is it possible to play my PS2 or Xbox on a 17" LCD Monitor, which I use for my PC. Not PC and console at the same time, I would disconnect the monitor from the PC first.

My XBox and PS2 work off the main TV so my gaming time is severely restricted at the moment, it would be great to get them working off my PC monitor which is in another room.

If they do work, what is the picture quality like compared to RGB through the TV?

    Thanks
    Greg

It won't work unless the LCD monitor in question has some form of video in. Neither the normal monitor connection, d-sub, or if your a lucky person DV-I, are compatible with xbox/ps2. The only way to use your computer monitor with your console will be to connect the console to the PC using either your graphics card or a separate VGA box.

NB: if what i have just written is complete :censored: i'm sure someone will correct me.

Wouldn't that mean I would have to have my PC on everytime I wanted to play on the console?

I am just after the easiest option and it looks like that adaptor is just what I am looking for.

My PC is so noisy it would distract when playing games on a console if the PC was on!
