Got it on second scart socket at the moment.

    Seems a little blurred.

Will component make it any better?
Do I have to spend £20+ on one or will the £6 to £10 ones work just as well?

    thanks for anyhelp.

Also wouldnt mind a suggestion of where to get one from.

    :)

Component will give you the best image quality
you should NOT use the 2nd scart socket on your LG anyway as it is only a composite scart, if I'm not mistaken only the first one is accepting RGB signals and if you don't already use a RGB scart for your PS2..big mistake lol (quality is a lot better already with a RGB scart)

    1-component
    2-RGB scart
    3-composite scart

that'0s the best choice for PS2
I'm saying this based on what I saw at a friend's house...

I'm only getting my plasma friday and actually I bought it to play Gran Turismo4 on it.
gran turismo 4 features a 480p and "fake" 1080i which will give you a kind of anti-aliasing actually, to use those resolutions you need a component cable so I bought one today :)..still waiting for the game tough...

    edit:
the blur you speak of must be because you use the standard PS2 composite cables, composite is awfully blurry
