ps2 not working ?

    every time i put a game disc into my ps2 its not starting and saying "no data", ive put a dvd cleaning disc in, but to no avail, and its still the same, can someone give me a clue as to what to do next please, thankyou

    laser burnt out maybe ? happen with all games/dvd's ?

    hi Kopite4Ever, have the lens an alcohol wipe, but still no joy, its fine with dvd's but wont play any games, weird thanks

    If you talk to sony on there customer support thing on ps2 they will exchange it for a refurbed ps2 for £55 delivered i think it is anyway :rolleyes: they are supposed to look like new from what ive read ;)
    I myself ebayed my ps2 when tray was sticking all time and had to be pull out 80% time anyhow i did state in listing about the fault and managed get £55 for it and paid difference of £45 for new slim ps2 :clap: lol

    Thier will be a local person in your yellow pages who will be able to put a new lazer in for you for around £30 - £40 as this happended to mind afew months ago.
