    Hi Folks

Trying to figure out you know the leads that come with UK PS2 to connect it to tv. Yellow, White and red plus a scart adaptor. Is this cable S-Video? Or do i need to obtain a better cable if so where from?

    Cheers

It is composite (yellow) and stereo (red/white)

The scart connector is for tellys that dont posses a phono plug for the composite.

    you have to buy a seperate ps2 > s-video cable (about £10 - £15)

yes its better than composite. your local high street games shop should stock them. I got mine from MVC, HMV di stock them but were out of stock at the time.

HMV, Game, Electronic Boutique et al.

If your telly does RGB then you'd be better with PS2 > Scart RGB

I got a PS2-SVHS lead (with 2 audio phono connectors) a couple of days ago from Game in Maidstone. It was marked up at £9.99 had 50% off in their half price sale plus another 10% off on the day! All in all I paid £4.50 odd for it.......Well chuffed!
