PS2 Display Help!

I've been looking for weeks now to get a proper answer for my problem.

I want to connect my slim PS2 to one of my monitors via VGA. But then it gets complicated an stuff, do all games work? My monitor has 1:1 pixel mapping, will that change anything?

Could someone recommend me something that does this that doesn't cost major £££...

Please heelp, I just want to play my PS2 on a monitor!

P.S. Yes, I've searched everywhere but everything keeps confusing things.

Apparently it only works with 480p games though, isn't there a way to play all ps2 games?
