Hi i have just bought a new slimline ps2 and a 26" lcd tv
Now at the moment i am connecting them via the s-vid socket
Would i be better getting a component/rgb cable set to hook it up to my tv??
Would i notice any difference at all ???
Thanks for your help

Yes the best connection is the component lead. After that RGB Scart and then S-Video. You will see a substantial improvement with the component lead.

Hi,

Can you also get same for xbox?

I would like to put both PS2 and Xbox through a cheap(ish) component switcher, does anyone know of one?

Thanks

Fantastic. Top one is exactly what I'm looking for and you've led me to a good site.

Thanks

I've got this, and its absolutely FANTASTIC!! (with my silver PS2 v9)
Ultimate RGB SCART Lead For PS2, blue lead from Blaze:
http://specialreserve.co.uk/Ultimate_Rgb_SCART_5879_r.html

- It removes the green screen when u watch DVD's (no need for anything else)
- Picture is crystal clear, compared to the normal scart
- It has a switcher for dvd's & games (but I can't see what difference that makes)

I recommend it thoroughly!
However I don't know much about component...

I am now hoping to hook up the PS2 to my Pio 435XDE plasma...
Are you saying component will be MUCH better than the amazing scart lead I have?
