Mine's connected into the side inputs. Just Composite, but works OK. I'd quite like to know if there's a better way myself! Can the PS2 output RGB? Or component?

The PS2 can output RGB or component (but not Progressive Scan). You just have to have the correct lead. The supplied lead just gives you composite and Left/Right audio. They normally give you and adaptor to put this into a SCART.

Third party manufacturers make the RGB cables. QED make a nice PS2 to SCART wired for RGB.

Component leads are very thin on the ground but can be found on the internet.

NB: The PS2 does not output RGB or component when playing DVDs. (I think that is why you only get the composite lead as standard)
