I am thinking of buyng a PS2,and connect it to my SDTV(cuz it would look bad in HD),but my SDTV is pretty old.I don't know if it suports 60 Hz,but let's assume it doesn't.I know that NTSC games run at 60 fps,and PAL games at 50 fps.But some NTSC games run at 30 fps,which means the PAL versions will run at 25 fps.Do they really run so slow?Is it as bad as playing a computer game at 25 fps,or they skip animations somehow and make it feel like playing at 30 fps?This is what I am curios about.Is it worth playing these PAL games,or will they run like crap?
