    HI,

I have just purchased an optical cable to connect my PS2 to my home cinema system. But, having tried fitting it, it does not seem to want to fit? The cable fits in the correct slots within the optical hole on the PS2 but it does not want to push in all the way and I don't want to force it.

    Any ideas??

On my Ps2 it is a very positive connection. As long as you have the plug the right way up, applying a fair amount of force will complete the connection without harm.

Thanks mylo for the 'helpful' answer rather than the other pillocks who seem to be only the third generation in their family to walk upright!!

    Cheers..

Fantastic, thats one generation further than people who can stick a plug in a socket then.
