Provisional Driving License Question

Hi Guys,
I got my provisional license about two and a half years ago. I took a few lessons then but it sort of dropped off. I am now starting lessons again on monday. Does my provisional run out? As far as I know it doesn't, but it's only just occurred to me now.
Anybody know?

there should be an expiry date on the license itself.

EDIT: just checked my own one and it's under section 4b on the front.

It lasts 10 years if I remember correctly, as plasmoid said the expiry is also on the card. Either way it should still be valid if you took it out 2.5 years ago.
