First impressions are very good, Sky movies looks brillant so i can only imsagine what standard dvd player will be like or even HD. I have my contrast and brightness set to 1/3 bar and i will keep it that why for the first 150 hours but is there anything i need to do to ensure i keep this screen as good as possible.

P.S. for the record i was concerned about lip sync issues via sky and so far it is great on the movies and sky news looked fine also so all great on that front but i'll hold my breath a little longer.

You reminded me, isn't there a disc i can use to tweak the settings to get a better picture? I think i need to buy myself one of them right away when i order a dvd player that has HDMI to get even more out of this beaut.

How long have you had yours Mal? Reason i ask is i have noticed a few hiccups while scrolling BUT it was on sky digital so assume it was just the signal getting lost. Put my mind to rest ;)

A lot of the starwars dvds have quite a good set up program for setting up your screen and sound, worth checking out ??

yes the THX optimiser is a good start but tends to be a setup for just that particular film .

for all round general setup DVE or AVAI are a good start.
