Protection... on CABLE ?

    Do i need ? and can i get any kind of fuse or device that can be used in Cable ... so that if there is lightning or ... short cicuit in pole... my tv won't be damged !!!

    My frens tv got damaged when electricity wire... came in contact with his cable line... so any thing like Surge protector for tv ?

    I'm not that familiar with cable as I have never used it, but could you use the RF connectors on a Surge protected mains block, this should protect the tv from any nasty surprises.
