Protecting your plasma - What are the choices

    Please bear with me. I have this fear/opinion/nagging doubt and I've really no idea where I heard it, or for that matter, wether I dreamt it... :oops:

    I understand that fingerprints or grease etc can damage a plasma display. I think this refers to the non reflective coating but am not 100% sure.

    I've tried to rationalise this belief by considering shops etc who quite happily have plasmas on display, quite often at a level where children can and do play/drool/wipe food on.

    Anyway, If this belief turns out to be true, does anyone know of a screen protector or similar which can be used to protect against this.

    I think they have the same surface as pc monitors, and mine always has marks from kids on it. I use one of the ordinary cleaning wipes for the bathroom, have done for two years, once a month or so. Its as good as new. Theres no way of keeping it clean, mount it higher up away from prying fingers.
