Pronto's and Sky

I am considering a Universal remote of some sorts and there are loads on eBay, but I need something that will work with Sky too... do any of them??? If so, which is the best... nothing costing Megabucks though please!

Also ideally need it to control:

Naim Nait 3R
Yamaha DSP-E800
JVC 17" LCD TV
Toshiba SD520E DVD

Any of those likely to cause problems??

Go for a Philips Pronto RU890 *WITH* a docking station (if you can). Although this is the first generation UK pronto and black & white, it's still very capable and configurable and can be got for a very good price on eBay.

I assume as you recommended it can handle Sky then??

Also found a Marantz 5200, i assume very similar.. if a little better looking!

Yes, the Pronto (and its Marantz derivatives) can handle Sky happily. You can learn the codes yourself or download an existing CCF that someone else has done from Remote Central.

Cool, cheers mate... The Marantz looks better (well the new Pronto Pro does, but thats a lot of cash!!!!)
