Hi Folks

Been a while since I've been on these forums.
My friend and I have set up a little venture from our photography hobby - the usual - facebook page and pixieset web site.
What's the general consensus on sharing/promoting such things on the forum?

While obviously it would be a real buzz to actually sell something, our objective at the moment is simply to get as much of an audience as we can.

Cheers
David

p.s. please be gentle... note that I purposely haven't included any names or links until I get a few points of view...

I'd suggest that the first thing you do is read the Forum rules.....

I think that it would very much depend on the wording that you use.... it certainly didn't used to be acceptable to even include a link in your sig to your website if it was commercial in any way.... I'm sure a mod/admin can give more complete guidance

Confirming - We would not permit it.

dwp - PM me your website / facebook link and I'll have a look, always keen to hear from other photographers and receive feedback on the general presentation of my website too :D
