The promise.tv website has launched, for those that don't know it is a system that records everything for the last 7 days, that's right, every programme on every channel, so you don't have to miss a thing and you really do have a tailored tv choice.

Doesn't really give much away that site though does it? How much is it going to be? When will it be available if at all? It just seems to say this is what it does and not a lot else really. If that's aimed at the consumer I have to say I left with more questions than I arrived with!

I hope the unit is slightly smaller than the one shown on the web site

Two PC Power Supplies, a motherboard and a stack of hard disks. Hardly Sky+ is it ?

I haven't read it yet, I signed up for info when I read about it somewhere, I was more interested in the 3 terabytes of storage they were taking about for HD rather than 7 days worth of freeview!

But as I got an email saying the site was up I thought I would post a link, but your right, not a lot of info.
