Do you think any company will bring out a Prologic 2 decoder (stand-alone) - I'm perfectly happy with my amp for DTS/D. Digital and are not that fussed with DTS-ES etc but I would quite like Prologic 2 for TV stuff - will a company bring out a decoder so it can be input into the 5.1 input on my amp ? Seems like a good idea to me ?

Is there one already in existence ?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

It's highly unlikely that a DPL2 decoder will appear.

You'll have to wait until you need a new processor that will do all the other standard formats as well.

I have searched all over for one mate same reasons and a GC , the problem is that the PL2 processing is used to make Matrix 6.1 so its embeedded in the amps decoding gear, I hope some one will produce a 7.1 processor that will add on to 5.1 amps, But i think i will just buy a new amp!!!! It'll be cheaper!

I agree - in the end it will have to be a new amp - but I've been very pleased with my current one and seems a shame to get rid of it just for Prologic 2.
